In Cyber Security and Information Sciences, Lincoln Laboratory conducts research, development, evaluation, and deployment of prototype components and systems designed to improve the security of computer networks, hosts, and applications. A particular focus is the intersection between the Laboratory's traditional mission areas and the cyber domain. In the human language technology area, emphasis is placed on realistic data and experimental evaluation of techniques for speech recognition, speaker recognition, language and dialect identification, speech and audio signal enhancement, and machine translation.






Primary responsibility will be to help ensure smooth coordination and management of all administrative activities for a highly dynamic group of senior leaders.  This will include managing multiple complex calendars, coordinating meeting arrangements, creating travel itineraries, and planning division events (including large annual conferences).  Additional responsibilities include answering phones, taking accurate messages, processing expense vouchers, escorting visitors, processing electronic shopping carts, maintaining supplies, typing memoranda, filing both paper and electronic information, and other administrative requirements as needed.  Support for other activities such as recruiting coordination and special projects will be a significant part of this role. 


The ideal candidate will be a contributor to the division office team able to work both cooperatively and independently, set priorities, and manage multiple concurrent tasks accurately and reliably.  Must be able to work effectively with a broad range of personality types across all levels both within and outside the organization.  Effective written and oral communication skills are essential.  Extensive experience with PC operation and Microsoft Office suite is required.  Experience with SAP/SRM and electronic document management systems is preferred.


Position requires handling of classified material.

•  High school diploma or equivalent is required, post high school education is preferred

•  At least 5 years of directly related experience is required.  

•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, familiarity with SAP is preferred.
