The Senior Project Manager works within the National Business Unit. This role will perform a full range of project management duties. This person will be responsible for the successful delivery of our implementation services ensuring client's expectations are met and high customer satisfaction is achieved while managing scope. This position will also be expected to accomplish minimal implementation duties from assisting with business requirements gathering, project documentation and client support. In addition, this role will contribute to, utilize, and promote the Arctic IT's Project Implementation Methodology and support the General Manager-National with various activities.


*Learn, utilize, and promote the Arctic IT's Project Implementation Methodology and work with Technical Consulting Managers to improve best practices
*Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment
*Manage concurrent small to large scale ERP, XRM and SharePoint implementations, including upgrades
*Build a relationship and develop trust with key client stakeholders, serving as the primary contact throughout the project, maintaining commitments, and communicating on a regular basis as well as reaching out as necessary with more pressing issues
*Plan projects to accomplish goals within constraints such as time, cost, and agreed quality and satisfaction standards
*Develop detailed project plans based off the solution to be delivered
*Schedule tasks, deadlines, and milestones for resources
*Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones, and delivering excellent customer service
*Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership
*Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues
*Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
*Evaluate the progress on projects regularly and forecast remaining phases/tasks to complete
*Meet frequently with internal and client team members to ensure projects are on track, identify obstacles, and navigate through them.
*Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
*Efficiently and competently manage problem resolution, e.g. scope-creep, changed requirements, missed deadlines, risk, quality issues, etc.
*Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered
*Develop project documentation, such as, project kick-off presentations, meeting agendas, status reports, project charters, go live plans
*Lead client project kick-off meetings and various types of project meetings
*Participate in initial business process discovery meetings with clients to understand scope of the project
*Manage gap analysis from requirements gathered to solution proposed with team
*Review and contribute to the content of implementation documentation, such as, Functional Requirements Document, Gap Analysis, Functional Design Document, Training Documents, Data Conversion Plans
*Perform project acceptance and closeout procedures to adequately transition the project to Customer Care
*Review invoice drafts and submit time entry changes as necessary
*Perform satisfaction surveys throughout the life cycle of the implementations
*Ensure Arctic IT's brand and image is represented appropriately
*Provide coaching and guidance to project team members
*Participate in resource planning and identifying resources required to complete projects successfully
*Stay current with latest project management strategies, tools, terminologies and provide input for improvements to our methodologies
*Provide feedback on performance evaluations for team members
*Provide mentoring and subject matter expertise to entry level project managers


*Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field
*Minimum of 10 years in applied experience with complex project management preferably in ERP or xRM implementations
*Proven capability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility and confidence
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
*Experience with Microsoft Dynamics solutions a plus
*PMP certification is a plus
*Valid driver's license and insurance
*Applicants subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements related to the clearance process

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities. Travel is required and varies around 25%.
