What You'll Be Working On-

  • Assist in developing the company's compensation strategy in order to ensure it is effective in attracting and retaining key talent and is compatible with the strategic objectives of the company
  • Direct the design, implementation and evolution of all compensation programs at all levels within the organization
  • Interact and communicate effectively throughout the organization with HR Leaders, business unit heads and other executives. Provide guidance and direction to the business and functional units on unit-specific compensation issues
  • Oversee participation in company's annual compensation survey processes and systems and utilize output to evolve compensation structures (bands and ranges) and provide market data to support compensation decision-making
  • Owns the administration of our annual year-end compensation processes to ensure adherence to timelines and accuracy of data. Ensure our compensation planning systems (currently Compensation Workbench) are prepared and able to facilitate the process effectively
  • Administer the company's equity plans utilizing our third party stock plan services provider. This includes our annual grant program and employee stock purchase plan
  • Develop and implement compensation programs to support international assignments (expatriate and third country national assignments, developmental moves, short-term assignments, etc.)
  • Direct the compliance of the company's compensation practices with all established internal practices and with all laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, MA Pay Equity, etc.), to minimize any potential exposure

What You'll Need-

  • Planning and managing enterprise-wide compensation processes, and leading an organization through the successful completion of such processes
  • Leading the organization through discussions which allow for the equitable handling of ongoing requests for job changes / promotion / adjustments while maintaining consciousness regarding the cost of such change
  • Practical experience with fully-outsourced stock plan administration, including executive stock plans and employee stock purchase plans
  • The ability to be strategic and contribute to the design and development of all of our compensation programs, connecting business needs to compensation plans, while also being willing and able to roll up one's sleeves and do the work
  • Excel guru and strong Powerpoint skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with international compensation and mobility issues and practices is a plus
  • An undergraduate degree is required and an MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable
  • Degree and/or work experience in finance is a strong plus
