Job Description


Headfarmer is a boutique Finance and Technology recruiting firm experiencing tremendous growth. We successfully launched in 2011 and have since become one of the premier specialty firms in the greater Phoenix area. With this growth comes the need to hire a driven and dynamic sales professional who thrives on building relationships with people and closing business. Headfarmer is *not* looking for a typical, transactional salesperson. We need someone who is willing and able to think strategically and creatively about growing Headfarmer’s footprint in the Phoenix market. Job Responsibilities :

  • Identify qualified leads by making contacts within the industry, networking, internet search methods, or other traditional marketing techniques and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • You should be comfortable with cold calling and focusing on developing relationships with key decision makers within organizations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • You will ensure continued relationships with clients during and following a project. You will work with other departments as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You must have demonstrated high level of energy and professionalism working with external networks.


Qualifications :

  • Strong technical sales background with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Business Development role within the IT industry.
  • Experienced in the IT staffing industry
  • Must have the ability to confidently interact with senior management and executives.
  • You should be competitive, self-motivated individual with a desire to win.
  • Clearly, excellent oral & written communication skills


This role is compensated with a base salary + commission with no cap on earning potential. Additional perks include flexible PTO, strong benefit plan, 401K, company team-building events, and working with the most awesome team ever!
