Supports an Regional Vice President or Senior Vice President (typically accountable for $100 - $300M). Reports into a Senior Director, Finance. Provides analytical support. This position will support one SVP and District Managers. POSITION SUMMARYThe account Finance Director’s role is to provide contractual and client insight to drive the contract/site performance in accordance with the financial terms of the contract with the support of transversal finance teams while providing the conduit to the client for financial issues e.g. overdue debt follow-up, change control, etc. The position will provide the opportunity to deliver real value both to the clients and Sodexo while ensuring the basics around reporting to the management of Sodexo, and the client, as to the progress of the area. The Finance Director is specifically responsible for driving the financial and commercial performance of the area in NORAM alongside the SVP Operations and ensuring risk mitigation plans are in place. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring appropriate internal governance, in line with Delegation of Authority and ensuring internal governance is aligned to the NORAM policies, including ensuring that the units and above site team budgets are managed effectively and efficiently.Lead and coordinate general accounting and financial reporting, cost accounting, auditing, budgeting and forecasting, and systems.Assist in the design of streamlined ways of completing monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual reporting. Provide support in the preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis requirements, such as Business Review, and New Sales Report.Develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems, including analysis and interpretation of trends.Supervise and develop key business indicators, including tracking and reporting key financial data. Provide support to GM's/DM's/SVP to ensure accurate results and help improve profitability Translate Sodexo strategic imperatives into specific business plans for responsibility area, taking into consideration short- and long-term goals, resources needed, scope of service, mission, vision, and values alignment. Monitor and ensure accountability for financial performance, processes, and policies.Able to support business development and retention to be competitive and successful while looking after business profitability Able to drive customer interactions at C-suite level, to negotiate and resolve issues. Able to interact at senior level internally (Segment CFO and Segment CEO)Able to work in matrix environment.
